Withdrawal.

When men do it, women are expected to bend over backwards to accommodate their "quirks" (for the record, I'm not dating because I don't have the energy for these games, nor am I particularly desperate Smiler

When women do it, we're neurotic and pathological. I mean that in the most lighthearted way that I can muster.

Hell, some of us need a laugh. Enjoy.

Well, to be fair, I have done that myself. But I wanted to share an article that illustrates how "normal" many of us are- we tend to tie ourselves in knots over our "pathology" when it is just taken for granted by the majority of the population that this is how men (and some women) behave as the rule, rather than the exception.

"clingy" is also a subjective term, and I bet there is another article out there on the stereotype of the clingy female.

I may look for more articles like this- what makes the whole human race kind of nutty- instead of focusing how I SPECIFICALLY am some kind of neurotic freak...

So have you guys ever needed to "grump" in your cave? I did that all the time when I was a kid Smiler

I feel a ramble coming on, that would be for another post.
