Anyway, I'm just really encouraged. First, that I care at all. Second, that I have energy and motivation to actually change something I don't like. And third, that I am a much more decisive person than I was before I started therapy!!

Thanks for sharing, BG. It's great to hear encouraging updates from people. It's cool that you care and are doing something constructive to make your home a more enjoyable place for you. It made me smile. And, you know what, although you weren't trying to toot your own horn...I think you kind of deserve to do so! You're doing hard work and it's paying off. That's awesome!
(((BG))) This was really fun and awesome to read! Big Grin Thanks for sharing it with us. The way you are feeling sounds a LOT like how I feel when I'm gardening. It sounds like your heart is "taking over". I just love it when that happens. Smiler And so cool that you can see progress in yourself. It's such an encouraging feeling, isn't it? So enjoy making your kitchen set brighter - I agree with you, I think your idea sounds really fun and cheerful - and let us know how it turns out, if you want! Big Grin

That is wonderful BG. I totally understand. I am an artist by trade and colors are amazingly enticing and I have used art and color as a ladder out of my depression so I get what you mean when you say that it is exciting that you care about it. WOUld love to see pics some time.
This is great to hear BG. Not only will your kitchen have a new look but the fact that you care and can be decisive is a great sign of your healing and growth. I'm in the stage of struggling with decisions right now but last spring I was happy and part of that was just knowing what I wanted to do, being able to do it and being happy that I had clarity.

It is so great to read of your progress in therapy and in your personal life. You are really blooming.
