I’m also happy I won’t be flying anywhere till February, and hopefully all this will calm down by then. I hate how it seems like every report I’ve ever seen they are throwing around the word “sexual molestation” like it’s no big deal. It’s disgusting.

It’s easy to get swept up in the news and all the media reports, but the fact is that you will only have to do the pat down, or x-ray thing if you set off the beeper on the metal detector, or you give them something to be suspicious about. Personally, I’ve never set the beeper off, or had any problem going though security in the countless times that I’ve flown, so I wouldn’t even be affected by the advanced screening. I’ve always made sure I am extra prepared. Make sure you empty all pockets, don’t wear any jewelry, keep all liquids under 3 ounces and in zip lock bags, take off shoes, belt, jacket or any layers, and you should be good.

I have a handful of travel triggers... oh... I don't think I can even say them right now... but good thread! good idea! I will come back later and post more.
