((BG)) woohoo!!
I'm glad your T acknowledged it also as something different and asked how it was. Do you think you will ever bring it back? I'm not a 'normal' therapy client either I have a teddy bear that lives at my Ts office she sets out for me every session. I brought him on a trip and thought i MIGHT not bring him back to her office but no.. I'm not at the "de-blanketing" phase of my therapy yet. Congratulations on your change (but it's okay to bring it back if you ever need, too!). I'm also happy you were able to be so deep and connected even despite the change.

Makes TOTAL sense - that's called balance! And you've found some!
Way to go BG!!!

FYI - expecting update thread on this at some point!!! How exciting!
Great job!!
But what are we going to call you now, BG?? Blanketless girl?
(((BG)))
Great news. I hope your family enjoys the puppy. It is so nice to hear that you have been letting go of deep stuff and feeling the big changes in your life. You deserve it.

Hey BG that is a pretty significant accomplishment. You should be proud of yourself. Even if you decide you need it again at some point there is no harm in that.
How great that you are getting a puppy. I love dogs but they, unfortunately, do not fit into our life at this point. We are never home and it would be unfair to a dog. I know your kids will be in heaven. Hopefully they will also walk and clean up after the dog, LOL.
Let us know how it's going with the new family member.
