Becca - I'd really like to find this topic for you but I don't remember it... Do you remember how you came across it (was it a new topic? If so, scan through the first page of each forum to see if you find it)? Was it an internet search, a forum search, a scrolling through old pages find, a link?

You could also press the 'Find' button (it's bside Go, New, Notify - in the brown area aligned to the left immediately above the name of this topic) and type in a word you remember. For example, I typed in mentor but found about 2 pages of threads with the word but I have no idea which one it may be.

If you could try those, or give some more details I may be able to help. We have a lot of transference/attachment related threads around here - a lot centering around parental/rescue/mentor/care types of things. There are a few threads I can think of that MAY match what you're looking for but I can't really know unless I know more that was in the thread if you can remember.

Cat, it was in this forum and I thought it was in the stories and personal accounts about therapy. I looked at everything really quick because I was about to leave the house last Friday.

I did check and search with the tools available here but came up empty. I am positive I read it but since I can't find it again, I'm thinking, wow, did I dream this and unconsciously need to talk to T about this. This is weird.
